Territory Sales Manager

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Planning and forecasting of dispatches, sales and collection on pre-defined periods at the relevant market
  • Achieve targeted collection and outstanding
  • Capture the opportunities by regular market visit and market development.
  • Optimize sales in high contribution areas by formulating strategies to give long term returns.
  • Adherence of policies to establish the pricing structure (Distributor and Retail Price) in the market place.
  • Continuously monitor distributor / retailer performance and suggest & implement alternate course of action
  • Adherence of sales policies and procedures
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and loyalty through BU indicators, propose and implement the necessary corrective actions.
  • Ensure consistency of market demand and production forecast in his/her area.
  • Timely communication to distributors / channel members about price, schemes etc.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the Customer support department to assist in trouble shooting on critical cement / concrete related problems of our customers.
  • Network Expansion (Market study, new dealer search, justify & evaluation).
  • Report preparation likely market share, Competitor activities tracking.
  • Dealer manpower training for better customer service and sales increase.
  • Working on Sale Operations to effectively manage the business & achieve/exceed targets.
  • In cooperation with Finance, monitor customer solvency and control the application of credit terms and conditions.

Training & Specialization

    • Proficiency in MS Office and Communicaiton

Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any field relating to Business Administration, MBA preferred.
